Everybody Loves a Cold War follows the brilliant Russian neurochemist Dr. Sergei Korchnoi as he nears the completion of a revolutionary weapon within Moscow’s Ministry of Obsessions and Desires (MoOD). While the steadfast KGB Colonel Irina Pashkovina is tasked with ensuring his success, Dr. Korchnoi seeks a path toward peace. Hoping to make love not war, he covertly shares his research with a former lover, Patricia Argyle, who leads the Soviet Bureau at the US Department of Social Engineering.
